acording to the series time kinda relative but also conservative, not all actions have terrible consequences but all choices can and will cause minor to big changes, it dwelves nd explains many tropes of time travel, moving forward, backwards, sideways, even diagonaly, how the mind and perspective changes timelines,

there is some back to the future stuff with one of the characters, explores time loops breaks time loops, the concept of convergency and divergency numbers show that yes changing time is dangerous but is also harder than it seems it isn't just predicting the lottery but also making sure chaos theory and butterfly effect doesn't make you or someone miss the numbers, that the further you dive into time travel the crazyer it gets, that anyone can learn how to understand,

manipulate time and see trough time( anyone can have a reading steiner) it has the best time system in my opinion since it can explain, manipulate and restore all tropes of time traves

Normies be taking over, but seriously why? As far a I know its only in the future but doesnt hasve time manipulation, it might as well be an isekai since the mc is preserved and wakes up in future so diferent then the present

Futarama is better.
lol jk it is a really great anime but I dont think the scientific plot is rigorous nor well laid out, just unique in a sense that they referenced different IRL concepts, people and organizations and compiled them into a coherent spectrum that were made easily digestable with memorable characters and grade-A comedy

Btw also try Chaos;Head and Robotics;Notes if you havent already

>>658239 thats why I called s;g a series, it includes visual novels, sequels and spin-offs, the level of detail on the time system is amazing and super consistent, simple yet complex, unlike some other shows or movies with terrible loopholes

>>658240 gonna try then
Post number #658243, ID: 8471a6

>>658239 maybe you should rewatch it if you didnt understand how it works, its the type of thing you watch multiple times to put everything togheter, if you keep track of all time changes, rules and concepts, you will see how well made the time system is

Is SGZero good? Have bought it some time ago, but still haven't started. Been 4 or 5 years since I played the original game by now.

>>658819 Anime reduced from game or game reduced from original steins gate? I'm mostly asking about game. Don't like adaptations much.

>>659374 game was the original work, s;g0 visual novel was waaay better than the anime

The best time travel media by far is Dark, up until one minute before season two ends. Then they pulled out the multiverse theory teaser and I stopped watching it.
Post number #659597, ID: de2914
|
>>659527 if multiverse theory is enough to be the best for you then your standarts for time travel are kinda dull, look at the original post, steins;game has all that and waaay more

>>659597 did you read the post I made? like at all? multiverse theory is what I DIDN'T like...
Post number #661772, ID: cd6e88
|
>>661767 then complex time travel isn't for you, the best stories are ussualy the ones the can be complex but still understandable and consistent

i'm still counting how many different Okabe appear in the anime...
Post number #661787, ID: cd6e88
|
>>661778 only 2, the one we see and the one from the future wich is from 0, unless you count every dmail and time leap as different okabes
Post number #661825, ID: 18aa1a

>>661787 all depends how you count
Post number #661826, ID: 18aa1a

and the worst part is when you start to count the others...

god why did i think it was a good idea >_<

>>661827 remember to at least 60 okabes, since he said he timeleap dozens of time off screen
Post number #661837, ID: 18aa1a
|
oh btw, i'm not saying that i disagree with >>661787 . that's the result me and a friend of mine came up with... but we had to settle on a way to count... starting from the end eliminates branches and you only see "2 Okabe".
but it's so much more fun to count every Okabe that got transplanted with memories of other worldlines out of nowhere... or just straight up replacing another from a foreign word line... and the offscreen action... >>661830 fml. that's a lot of Okabe...
