I have watched that one! Thinking about it was what prompted me to make this thread. Haven't watched the movie, but the series ends very well.

Those are some good choices. Probably should watch the Bunny Girl movie as well, as >>50bf1b is saying. I haven't watched it personally, but, well, the show was great, so the movie probably is as well.

I liked Suisei no Gargantia, but it was a pretty odd anime being about mecha but with low action content (kinda solarpunk-ish).
I think Sora no Woto count?
Girls last tour.. almost counts as the anime ends right before the not-as-happy conclusion in the manga which made me hopeful and I'm angry now.
Psycho Pass definitely counts.. the first season concluded nicely, and despite what anyone might say, it doesn't have a season 2 at all :D

| Op here. Goddamn, Baccano! is good. Love it. Not as finished as I would like, but with the structure being like that, I can appreciate it. The trailing plot points can just be left to the viewer's imagination.

| Give me some anime that only last a season (~13 ep) with a good beginning-middle-end! No sequel hook, no setups for future arcs. Just a single season telling everything it needs to say and done!
Preferably something with a whole plotline, but episodic stories with an overarching plot that reaches a conclusion by the end is also ok.
