Why can't Hollywood leave all foreign films and games alone so the people of the country that made that film or game etc can make a new film/ live action in their own country and not lose all the glory to Hollywood which will eventually own all rights to said content?

Japan has made a few live action movies from anime. They are somehow worse than most Hollywood adaptations.

>>620661 Movies are officially entertainment for teenagers now, so it doesn't surprise me that Hollywood is adapting anime. The definition of mature or for adults is just porn. It's depressing.

Wow, I can't wait for it to be terrible. Like all the other Hollywood live action adaptations.

>>620841 Most movies have been aimed at teenagers since like the 80s. And before that it was mostly family movies. This seems to be the rose tinted glasses of forgetting about all the shit that comes out at the same time as the classics.

I can't wait for the confusion that ensues when people who never touched the original inevitably talk about how bad it is.

I hope that they do not spoil the idea and atmosphere of at least anime, not to mention the novel
