Umineko: VN or manga?
| I am currently playing a vn on my phone. In vn you can look up the info on all of the characters when ever you want. And there are lots of details. Also, there are moment when frederica talks to the player and it feels weird to watch her in anime/manga. First and foremost it is game.
| I take the VN any day. There are details & subtleties that I feel don't translate to the manga, & it feels particularly incomplete to me without that soundtrack

| Do any of you here prefer the VN or manga daptation of Umineko? If so, why?
I personally prefer the manga, as I adore the exaggerated facial expressions, faster than watching a 3 hr playthrough, and the manga gives the events that lead to the Rokkenjima murders.
