| However they go for a European like city and does not look as poor as the scrapyard should actually be. And the action is so PG. The manga has Alita smashing and exploding brains, makaku ripping heads of and devouring brains. Also why did they make dusty nova live on zalem? Why switch from the original source material so much (they probably did this so they can wrap the story up in 2 movies but it will be so thrown together if this is what they came up with for the first movie)
| Im not sure about you guys but I like Alita (manga) for the dark cyberpunk city of the scrapyard, the psychological affects that are caused to Alita, the in-depth and meaningful relationships that Alita makes and breaks, the Gorey intense action and the also the fact that you could never really tell where the story was going to go next. The movie has none of these and is the most predictable piece of shit. The only upside is that Alita actually looks half decent
| The movie is better than other blockbuster crap I have seen in recent times, but not a good adaptation or story, compared to whats out there in the anime world. I had the chance to experience it in 4Dx, and enjoyed it, but I would have preferred to watch dragons 3, a MUCH better movie, in 4Dx. I havent read the manga, but even so, the adaptation felt waaay to toned down from what I had imagined.
| Anyone who hasnt seen the dragons triology, should go ahead and watch the movies, or even some of the complementary materials.

| The movie was such a fucking poor imagining of what the manga was. They make Ido feel so much more like a side character, Yugo/Hugo gets not personal back story and never really goes insane like in the manga and there are many many other problems with the story which is so fucking retarded that I just don't know why this is even a thing....I would have been fine with this if the world and the action was good tho.
